Our Group Of Companies

Balaji Group, combination of four renowned companies, was founded by Late Shri M. L. Sharma, the father of current Promoters/Directors of Balaji group. He was a founder chairperson of a coal mining company named Khas Karanpura Colliery Ltd., way back in 1960. In the year 1973 when coal mining was nationalized, spearheaded by the vision of the founder, the Group commenced in manufacturing of coke under the name of M/s Friends Coal Carbonisation. It was the 1^st company engaged in producing Blast Furnace Coke and supplying the same to large Steel plants viz. SAIL and TISCO.

Presently, Balaji Group is handling over 1 million tonne of imported Coal yearly with huge installation capacity of 5 lacs tonnes of Low Ash Met Coke operated through its Group Companies viz. M/S Tirupati Fuels Pvt. Ltd and M/S Antai Balaji Ltd.
